What can my child wear at school?

We encourage a sense of belonging and pride by asking that all children wear the correct school uniform. Please ensure that each item of uniform is labelled. If an item is lost, please speak to a member of staff who will help locate it.

Our uniform consists of:

• White shirt or red or white polo-shirt (logo optional)
• Black or grey trousers or knee length shorts, skirt or pinafore
• Red jumper, sweatshirt or cardigan (logo optional)
• White, grey or black socks or tights
• Sensible black shoes or boots (no trainers) that can be fastened easily
• Red and white checked summer dress (optional)
• Warm, waterproof outdoor coat (as necessary)
• Reading book bag (house team colour) that is given by school, a replacement can be purchased from school. 

For PE your child will need:

• Black shorts (plain, no logo or stripes)
• Black joggers and hoody (with the school logo or plain, no other promotional logo or stripes) for cold weather
• School T-shirt in your child’s House Colour – blue, red, green or purple
• Pumps or plain trainers for outdoor P.E. 
• P.E. bags – can be purchased through school

Jewellery must not be worn in school. A watch (not smart) and small studs are allowed if ears are pierced.  For safety reasons earrings must be removed or covered by the children themselves for P.E., swimming and climbing.

We ask that children who have long hair wear it fastened back using a bobble and headwear that is conservative (no large flowers, unicorns etc.). We ask that a clip or headband is used for longer fringes that may get in the way. 

Where can I buy school uniform?

Any supermarket or clothing store should stock the items of clothing that are on our list of school uniform.

Many items of uniform, such as sweatshirts and cardigans with the school logo and coloured P.E. T-shirts can be purchased from The Uniform Shop, Pasture Road, Goole (Tel. 01405 763071)
