Week beginning 9th March
In science this week, we have been learning about how we grow and change from a baby into an adult. We really enjoyed Fenna and Lily's visit on Monday and compared what they both could do e.g. Fenna just drinks milk while Lily enjoys trying lots of different kinds of food just like us.
We continued our celebration of reading and books this week when each class had a fabulous poetry workshop led by Conrad Burdekin. He taught us some of his poems and helped the children write one about the skeleton in our body.
It is mine!
Our Busy Week 3rd March 2020
This week we have been reading the story 'Funnybones'.
We talked about the words skeleton, skull, connected, staircase and cellar and what they meant. We spent a super afternoon outside making skeletons out of natural materials. You can see some of our creations below.
On Thursday everyone in school celebrated World Book Day. We came to school dressed as our favourite book character and shared our books with our friends.
