Hensall Community PrimarySchoolHigh expectations for all, by all.

Welcome toHensall Community PrimarySchoolHigh expectations for all, by all.

PSHCE, which stands for Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education, is at the heart of our school and encompasses personal development across the whole curriculum.  At Hensall, we aim to prepare our children for life in the modern world. Through our newly developed curriculum, we offer a variety of activities to help our children with their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, embedding the fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.

As our pupils grow as individuals and progress through school we are committed to ensure that they achieve, not just academically, but also spiritually, morally, culturally and socially, in order to be prepared for life in the modern world.

Each Friday afternoon, every class will partake in PSHCE lessons focusing on a particular topic each half term.  Following this, the children will engage in a variety of activities on a particular theme, which links to the PSHCE curriculum.  These activities have been planned to prepare the children with skills they will need in everyday life and to understand the world in which they live.  Please find below our whole school PSHCE overview and Feel Good Friday themes.
