Mental Maths

  • Monday Try the ordering game from 1 - 20, forwards and backwards.
  • Tuesday Recognise 20 is still 20 by playing different with numbers in different contexts: e.g. money, length, mass etc
  • Wednesday Select 1 - 20. Play missing number and 1 more and 1 less game.
  • Thursday We enjoy singing this relaxing song in class - The children can sing really big numbers!

Friday

Choose any of the games or activities from this week or you might find other maths games you enjoy.

  • Hit The Button Try getting really fast at the number bonds to 10, before we move onto 20!
  • Interactive Numberline Choose a number from 1 - 20. Practise saying the sentence: 1 more than (the number) is ? and 1 less than (the number) is. - Can you do it without the number line?
