Learning over the next few weeks will be focussing on the key basic skills of mathematics: place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will then move on to cover a variety of different topics. These key elements are vital for future success in mathematics!
Week Commencing 1/6/2020
This week our maths lessons are consolidating your knowledge of volume. I have added some PowerPoints and a video link to recap how to calculate the volume and then talk you through some examples before you have a go. Remember choose your chilli 1,2 or 3 - begin with fluency and when you are confident try the reasoning and problem solving.

This week we are consolidating our knowledge of calculating the area and perimeter. of different shapes. I have added some PowerPoints and videos to help recap your understanding. Remember to choose your chilli challenges - begin with fluency and then move onto reasoning when you feel ready! I have also added a half arithmetic paper as some of you have emailed asking for some more calculation practise. Keep up the great everyone!

This week we are converting different units of measure. There are 3 lessons for you to work through during the week - I have left the x by 10, 100 and 1000 work from last week underneath as it may come in handy.
