Here are some useful literacy websites to support you and your child while you are at home.
A teacher called Mr Mc is very kindly adding a new phonics lesson to his youtube channel each day. He recaps the letter sounds and names, introduces a new sound and reads words with the new sound in. He uses lots of songs in his lessons and has made up lots of the songs himself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kqjvl__oSGg
'Teach your Monster to Read' is available free for laptops (https://www.teachyourmonstertoread.com/) and until 23rd March on Apple and Amazon (links can be found here https://www.teachyourmonstertoread.com/blog )
Phonics play - this is a very useful website. It follows Letters and Sounds which we use at school. The children enjoy these games at school.
