About Maple Class - Year 6

Welcome to Maple Class! 🌳

In Maple Class, we are passionate about ensuring every child reaches their potential in a challenging, enjoyable, and supportive environment. Tucked away in our own corner of the school, we love to engage in debates and challenge our thinking. We are dedicated to building responsibility and encouraging risk-taking, always supported by our friends and wonderful staff.

Our class staff, Mrs. Lindley, Mrs. Titterington, and Mr Evans work tirelessly to provide a nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive. Being a single year group with a smaller class size allows us to focus on individual needs, ensuring that each child receives the attention they deserve.

We embrace all the opportunities offered to us, whether through whole class discussions, small group activities, or individual learning. Our goal is to build on the knowledge obtained in previous years and enhance every child’s learning experience through practical and engaging methods. We also place a strong emphasis on increasing independence and responsibility, both in school and at home, to prepare our students for a smooth transition to secondary school.
